Taşacak Bu Deniz, airing on TRT1, topped social media, while Kanal D's highly followed series Uzak Şehir stood out as the most discussed production in traditional media.

Analysis Defining December's Series Agenda

The comprehensive analysis, conducted between December 1-31, 2025, scanned over 10,000 sources, including television channels, print media, internet news sites, and social media platforms. MTM Media Monitoring Center's December Series Report comparatively presented both the presence of series in news production and their digital interaction performances. According to the report, the series agenda concentrated around specific channels and themes. Particularly, series from Show TV, Kanal D, and ATV were prominent among the most talked-about productions in media and social media, with this visibility varying by platform.

'Taşacak Bu Deniz' Wind Blew Through Social Media!

On social media platforms, OGM Pictures' production Taşacak Bu Deniz, airing on Friday evenings on TRT1, became the month's leader with a staggering 707,300 messages. This intense interest in the series on social media indicates an increase in viewer comments and shares about the production.

'Uzak Şehir' Maintained Its Lead in Traditional Media

In traditional media, Kanal D's series Uzak Şehir was recorded as the most discussed production of December. This highlights that the series received extensive coverage in news and print media.

Notable Rises on Social Media

Another production that drew attention on social media was Most Production's Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı, airing on Thursday evenings on NOW TV. With a 67% increase compared to November, reaching 661,800 messages, the series demonstrated a significant rise. FARO & Gold Yapım's Veliaht, airing on Thursday evenings on Show TV, also managed to maintain its high ranking by increasing its social media interaction by approximately 22%. These strong increases clearly show how much viewers not only watch series but also value commenting on and discussing the content.
