Renowned actor Oktay Kaynarca, who was detained as part of an ongoing drug investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, involving numerous celebrities, and subsequently released under judicial control, has had his statement revealed to the public. Kaynarca categorically denied the allegations concerning drug and prostitution parties.
In his statement to the prosecutor, Oktay Kaynarca also shed light on his relationship with businessman Murat Gülibrahimoğlu and the substantial sum of money he received. Kaynarca confirmed receiving $100,000 from Gülibrahimoğlu for a promotional film project. However, he stated that he returned the money as the project did not materialize. Kaynarca emphasized his consistent stance against illicit substances like drugs and mentioned visiting a house in Günümüzü Konakları where he saw Murat Gülibrahimoğlu with an entertainment group. He acknowledged Rabia Karaca's statement that he accepted an offer to be the face of an advertising campaign for a construction project with Murat Gülibrahimoğlu.
While Kaynarca admitted to being close friends with Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, he vehemently rejected Rabia Karaca's claim that 'Murat and Oktay are close friends, gifting each other women at drug and prostitution parties.' He stated that any association of his close friendship with Gülibrahimoğlu with criminal activity is out of the question. Kaynarca, who was released under judicial control along with Emel Müftüoğlu, another individual detained in the operation, indicated that the investigation is being conducted meticulously.
