The presence of famous actress Emel Müftüoğlu among those detained also drew attention.
According to the news by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Oktay Kaynarca, who was taken into custody, made his first assessment regarding the news about him and the ongoing process. Facing this situation, Kaynarca stated, 'My forehead is clear, my head is held high,' emphasizing his trust in the legal process and his innocence. This statement served as the first strong message from the famous actor regarding the challenging process he is undergoing.
The official statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office indicated that within the scope of investigation file numbered 2025/280882 CBS, conducted by the Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, Oktay Kaynarca, Emel Müftüoğlu, Neda Şahin, Ali Sert, Rabia Karataş, and Selen Çetinkaya were detained. The statement specified that the suspects were evaluated to have committed one or more of the crimes of 'Possession of Narcotic or Stimulant Drugs for Use', 'Facilitating the Use of Drugs', 'Inciting, facilitating, or acting as an intermediary for prostitution, or providing a venue for prostitution', and 'Providing a venue and opportunity for gambling.' It was also emphasized that the investigation is continuing meticulously.
