Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in recent months, Onat had been keeping her followers informed about her surgeries and treatment. Her latest photo, taken at a shopping mall and shared with her followers, drew attention with her vigorous appearance. Gül Onat's Statement: 'I Lived Through Hell, I Accepted It'

Sharing her ordeal in a candid manner, Gül Onat stated that her illness began in 2023 and she is battling pancreatic cancer, one of the most dangerous types. Onat said, "I didn't ask 'why me,' I accepted it. I underwent very heavy surgeries. I lived through hell, chemotherapy, radiotherapy... A year passed comfortably, then it recurred in my intestines. Again, very heavy surgeries, and I've come to these days, thank God." She mentioned that she faced the disease with a maturity that surprised even herself. Onat candidly shared, "Currently, my intestines empty into a bag, and have been for six months. It's a very difficult situation; I'm one of the rare people who see their own intestines," expressing the difficulties she has faced. Onat's encouraging post during this challenging struggle has brought hope to her loved ones.
