Esra Ezmeci, known for her roles as a psychologist, author, and presenter, is facing serious allegations regarding the use of the "clinical psychologist" title on her office sign in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. Following examinations, it was claimed that Ezmeci did not possess a diploma authorizing her to use this title. This situation triggered an investigation and court proceedings against her.
According to a report by Son TV, the relevant authorities filed a criminal complaint after inspections, leading the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to launch an investigation. It is alleged that an indictment was prepared as a result of the investigation, and in the case heard at the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance, Esra Ezmeci was found guilty under the "Law on the Practice of Medicine and its Branches." It was claimed that the court sentenced Ezmeci to 10 months in prison and deferred the announcement of the verdict.
Following the emergence of allegations regarding the court's decision, Esra Ezmeci responded to the claims with a post on her social media account. In the video she published, the famous personality showed her diplomas and asserted that she does not use the "clinical psychologist" title. However, it was stated that the prosecutor's office considered the statement on the sign as a criminal element.
