Critical details have come to light in the investigation surrounding the suspicious death of Güllü, a beloved figure in Arabesque music. Her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who fell from her Yalova home's window and lost her life, has been arrested on charges of intentional homicide. The messages she sent to her lover, Kervan, regarding her mother, could alter the course of the investigation.
WhatsApp conversations that have surfaced reveal that Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter recorded phone calls with her stepmother, Nilüfer, and transmitted these conversations to her lover, Kervan. Tuğyan's statements in the messages, such as "I know what I'm going to do to my mother tomorrow" and "I'm fed up, may my mother and father be cursed," have drawn significant attention. The messages also included her words, "My mother is a very deceitful woman; she has been fooling us all this time. I don't want to deal with these things; they will make me a murderer."
The conversations Tuğyan relayed to her lover also contained her stepmother Nilüfer's accounts of Güllü's past. The claims that Nilüfer provided different information about Güllü's relationship with her father and the children's situation, and that Güllü distorted the past, were noteworthy. Tuğyan, relaying her stepmother's words, "Your father used to visit your mother and then come to me. Your mother destroyed my home. I cursed her, which is why she has no home; she threw you to your maternal grandmother like trash," stated that her mother was lying about the past.
Another striking detail in the correspondence was the tense dialogues between Güllü and her daughter Tuğyan. Tuğyan's remarks to her mother, such as, "Do you know why we fight? We are the same. Because in this life, you envy me the most, and I envy you. Because in this life, I cannot tolerate you the most," revealed the deep discord between them. Güllü's response, "You are the apple of my eye," was also noted.
These messages and the newly emerged evidence are considered a significant turning point in the ongoing investigation into Güllü's death.
