Myoma Surgery Turns into a Nightmare: A Chain of Misfortunes Beginning with an Intestinal Cut

Aslı Bekiroğlu stated that she went to the hospital for a simple myoma surgery, but the medical error she experienced completely changed her life. She explained that her intestine was accidentally cut during the operation, leading her into a series of complex surgeries. Bekiroğlu expressed her initial shock by saying, "I went to have a myoma removed from my uterus. While removing the myoma from my uterus, they accidentally cut my intestine. About 7 centimeters. I had another surgery a week later because they cut my intestine."

Second and Third Surgeries: Repair Attempts with Body Tissue and New Expectations

Following the unfortunate incident during the first surgery, Bekiroğlu mentioned that she had to wait for a while to repair the damage to her intestine. She announced that she underwent a third surgery approximately 6-7 months later. In this surgery, a muscle taken from her body was placed instead of the intestine, but she stated that this method was not entirely successful. Bekiroğlu said, "Then we waited for about 6-7 months. I had another surgery in October. This time, they took a muscle from my body and placed it lower, instead of the intestine, to close the gap. That didn't take hold properly either."

Future Surgeries and Public Misunderstandings

Despite all these difficulties, it was learned that Bekiroğlu has two more surgeries ahead. It was stated that tissue taken from her leg will be placed in the damaged area in these surgeries. The actress, who will undergo another surgery in January, said that her second surgery is planned for around March-April. Bekiroğlu expressed her sadness that people from the outside constantly assume she has gained weight or is pregnant, emphasizing that no one knows the ordeal she has been through.
